When building a pergola that is attached to your house there is the danger of the additional load of your pergola being borne by the house fascia, thus resulting in a disproportionate load being carried by your home’s eaves.
Fascia brackets are designed to prevent this from happening. When installed correctly they provide sufficient structural support for both the main house and the attached pergola.
